Eagle Fire Department

  • 45 career personnel firefighters
  • District spanning 92 square miles, encompassing all of Eagle along with parts of Ada, Gem and Boise Counties
  • Estimated 28,000 residents living in our district

From structure and wild land fires to swift water rescues, medical emergencies to vehicle crashes, our experienced crews respond to and manage a variety of calls for help each day.

Each member of our crews is trained as a firefighter and emergency medical technician. In addition to emergency responses, we work closely with business owners, schools and community groups to educate members of the community about fire dangers and safety skills – giving them the tools they need to reduce the risk of fire and other hazards that threaten lives and property.

Our Fire District is governed by three Commissioners who are elected to represent the separate sub-districts. Eagle Fire Commissioners oversee Eagle Fire Department plans and policies and manage the District’s finances.

The Mission of the Eagle Fire Protection District
